When you harvest your bird you will need to submit a picture along with the length of both spurs closest to the 1/16 inch, beard length and weight. This can also be done at the Apalachee Longbeards web site or you may print the form, fill it out and mail it in with your picture. Winner will be determined by a panel of judges that are members of the Apalachee Longbeards Hunting Heritage committee. In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by a random drawing. The winner will be announced and prize awarded at the Apalachee Longbeards annual Hunting Heritage Banquet held July 30, 2011 at the Tallahassee Car Museum in Tallahassee.
