WTXL News Story on our 2011 Wheelin' Sportsman Deer Hunt

Dave Griffiths from the Tallahassee ABC News station did a nice segment on our Wheelin' Sportsman and Wounded Warrior Project deer hunt at TallTimbers.  Click below to view the video.

Great Turkey Video

This video was produced by Passion Pictures in regard to Joe Hutto’s “Illumination in the Flatwoods” regarding the hatching, imprinting, and raising of wild turkeys over a one year period. The FWC worked with Passion Pictures and Lovett Williams regarding necessary permits and assisted with the capture and radio tagging of turkeys on a ranch near Lake Placid. The FWC is recognized in the credits. David Austin (former GFC employee) was hired by Passion Pictures to assist with the production as well. While the original intent of the documentary was to be about the life of the turkey and be more scientific in nature, the focus shifted to more of a story about Joe Hutto and his experiences which likely made it more attractive to the general public. There is still some talk of making other productions using other footage collected in the future.
